Lexie - 2 months

Lexie Ann...how is it possible that you are 2 months old already?

You have grown so much in the last month.

You are right around 12 pounds and are starting to grow out of your newborn sized clothing and into 0-3 month clothing.

Here is a picture of you on Easter...you look thrilled. :)

That is definitely a look you get from your dad...the good ol' one eyebrow look.

This month you kind of fell into a routine of eating, playing, and sleeping.

Not going to lie...that made my life a bit easier.

Something else that made life easier...no more Thursday night parties...woohoo!!!

You pretty much sleep through the night...waking up at 4 a.m. or so to eat...and then you'll go back to sleep. You do better in your swing, now. Landry discovered that you really like to listen to the classical music that will play on the swing. So cultured already. :)

You have gone on several lunch dates with me...and play dates, too.

As you can see...we rarely leave the house without a flower or a bow. :)

Sometimes those flowers get a little feisty!

You went to your first Clovis Rodeo.

Again...you were thrilled. :)

If you don't already know...I'm pretty crazy about you!

You have definitely become a lot more attentive and aware of things around you.

You even gave us your first smile this month.

I had forgotten what it felt like to have your child smile at you for the first time...amazing!

Speaking of love...this guy!

He continues to be the sweetest, kindest, and all around best brother in town.

He loves to buckle you in your carseat, "read" to you, sing songs, and try to make you happy.

He even wanted to get in your monthly picture...

which quickly turned into him becoming the photographer!

You finally seem to enjoy laying on it, kicking, and smiling at yourself in the mirror.

You seem to already know just how cute you are. :)
