The King Wedding

On Saturday we got to celebrate with our closest friends,
the marriage of Brian and Kelly.

Deborah, me, and Sheri before the wedding festivities begin

The wedding was in our friends, Keith and Sarah's, beautiful backyard.
The beautiful bride and her father...

What a good looking group of groomsmen!

Keith was the officiant and he did a wonderful job!
It was a heartfelt ceremony with just the right amount of humor.

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Brian King!

The decor was rustic, vintage, winery with little
details that added a lot of character.
Unfortunately I was having so much fun enjoying
an evening of no children that I forgot to get pictures
of the decor. Here are the beautiful centerpieces.

In our group it isn't a wedding until "Cotton-Eyed Joe" has been played!

And of course...you can't forget about the photo booth!
Deborah, Sheri, and me hammin' it up. :)
1. We love Sheri
2. Oops it took our picture
3. Duck face
4. Serious model look

Here is our "Masquerade Charlie's Angels" set.
In the second photo I promise I am doing the "gun" pose
with my hands..even though it looks like something not so nice.

And here is Deborah, Jeff, Chad, and me...
too bad we don't have any fun together!

It was a great night celebrating the new couple.
Not even going to lie...it was AWESOME
to have a night with this guy and not have to
worry about where two little ones were,
if they were hungry, bored,
needed a diaper changed, and so on.

Congrats, Brian and Kelly!
We love you and wish you a lifetime
of love and happiness!

Batter Up!

Wednesday night was Landry's last night of t-ball for the 2015 season.
This was his third season...and by far his best.
His first two seasons were through Clovis Rec...
this year we did it through Fresno P.A.R.C.S. and I HIGHLY
recommend them...sooooooo much better than the other program.

One of the biggest differences between the two leagues
was that this league had actual coaches and they taught the kids some skills.

Here are the mighty Marlins...ready to play ball...or in the dirt. :)

Another plus this season...Landry was on the same team
as his dear friend, Amy!
This was also a plus for me because it meant that
I got to visit with Erin every week. ;)

Look at that cutie!
Whenever he took the field he would always look for us
and give us a big wave and smile,

Getting some directions from one of his coaches.

Waiting for his turn to bat...

with his buddy, Amy!

Hey batter, batter...

swing!
But thanks for looking at Mom for a cute picture before you do.

Running home!

At the end of each game, the team would line up
and shake hands with their opponent...

and then run through the tunnel

I loved this shot of Carter,
Amy's little brother,
trying to be part of the tunnel.

After their last game Fresno P.A.R.C.S
had hot dogs, snacks, drinks, and medals for the kids.

While Landry enjoyed his hot dog and got his medal,
Chad kept Lexie occupied with the swings!

Just keep swinging/moving and she will keep smiling. :)

I mean seriously. How cute is he?
Love this little slugger.

My parents and sister came to every game to watch all of the fun.
One day my sister sent me this picture she found
and I died laughing.

This was so right on...
and yes...
Landry was most definitely short stop!

And for the grandparents...
here is a video of Landry in action.

5th Birthday Party...McDonald's Style!

Yesterday we celebrated this guy's
5th birthday with his closest friends!

I posted this little "sneak peak"
on Facebook and Instagram.

Normally I start planning Landry's birthday parties
AT LEAST 6 months in advance...no joke.
His 1st birthday party I started planning, gathering ideas,
and making my lists, when he was only 3 months old.
Oh...and I already know what I want to do
for Lexie's first birthday.
Crazy.
 I know.
Just ask Chad.
He'll agree. :)

This year I was a bit distracted...
with being pregnant and having a baby. :)
I tried to talk Landry into going on
a trip for his birthday instead of a party.
But...he REALLY wanted a party.
So, after some discussions...he decided on...
his favorite place...McDonald's!

Here are the invitations I made...

I really wanted to keep this party "simple."
Which...I will admit...isn't really in my vocabulary
when it comes to me and parties. However, I didn't really have
the time or energy to get too carried away.
Plus...let's be real. The kids could really care less.
You give them McDonald's and a Play Place...throw in cake...perfect!

So simple it was.
Here is a banner I made and hung up...

Simple balloon bouquets for the tables...
the bags were actually left over from Landry's 2nd birthday party.
Good thing I held on to those Target clearance goodies for 3 years. ;)

The McDonald's "birthday party package" includes goodie bags...
but the Type A me had to add something a little more personalized.
I picked up these water bottles at Michael's...
added some vinyl lettering and polka dots to match...
filled them with popcorn...
ta-da!

I wasn't able to get many pictures of the kids...
because they were in the Play Place pretty much the entire time. :)

Landry and Amy...

Avery and Landry...friends at Tammy's house...

This picture cracks me up.
It looks more like a police line-up than a
fun, group birthday party shot...oh well.
They were having fun...at least until I made them stop to take a picture. :)
We were missing a few friends in the picture, too.

Happy Birthday, Landry!
Yes, McDonald's even provides the cake.
Not necessarily the cutest cake...but it was very yummy...
and again...the kids could care less...as long as there is cake. :)

Overall it was a blast!
A little crazy...and hot...but fun none the less!
Can I just "brag" for a moment about how affordable this party was?
Seriously...the entire thing...less than $100...for 11 kiddos.
No joke!

Landry is so lucky to have the best grandparents...
who love him to pieces!

G.G., Landry, and Poppie
(Chad's parents)

Nawnie, Landry, and Papa
(my parents)

He also totally scored in the aunt department...
I don't know...do you think they love each other?

Landry and Auntie K.K.

We love you, Landry Tigh, and hope you had a FABULOUS party!

And because I can't resist...how cute is this little one?

Here is a look back at Landry's previous birthday parties:
